A small sisal post with a ball hanging off it, for cats currently using your sofa.
What it is
Straw mat, plastic and metal, 27 × 10 × 8 cm. Sisal is the surface most cats prefer to scratch — carpet-covered posts teach a cat that carpet is fair game.
Who it's for
Cats scratching furniture, and kittens learning where they're allowed to.
⚠️ This is small — 27 cm. It is a scratch pad with a toy, not a floor-standing post. A full-grown cat cannot get a proper stretch on it, and stretching is half the point of scratching. If your cat is adult and scratching vertically, you want something considerably taller.
Placement decides whether it works. Put it directly next to whatever they are currently scratching, not in a corner you'd prefer.

Care
Replace when the sisal is shredded through — a worn post stops appealing.
