What it is
Closely spaced pins that lift loose hair off the topcoat and work out light tangles before they become mats. This is the tool for a few minutes every couple of days, not the one you reach for when the coat is already matted.

Who it's for
Most coat types for everyday maintenance — short, long and curly.
Not the right tool for a packed undercoat. If your animal is double-coated and shedding in clumps, the pins will skate over the top of it. Use an undercoat rake for that and keep this for the days in between.
Not for serious mats either. A mat tight to the skin needs a dematting tool or a groomer, not a comb.
