What it is

Who it's for
Larger or older animals, and anyone whose dog stands with their front legs splayed to reach a floor bowl.
Height should roughly match the animal's chest. Too high is as awkward as too low. Measure from the floor to the bottom of the chest and pick the size nearest it.
Raised bowls are not right for every dog. There is ongoing debate about raised feeding in large, deep-chested breeds. We are not going to pretend to settle it — ask your vet if your dog is one of those breeds.
